After selling a house through Michael Fenn one feels almost obligated to write a review and that is what you are now reading. Michael came to us by word of mouth from people in the neighbourhood who had no personal interest in exaggerating their praise for him, not only as a real estate agent, but also as someone who is part of the community. He has exceeded our expectations! Selling our father´s house with one of us living in Europe and the other in the United States demands a smooth and seamless communication among all parties and Michael, through his Emails and ZOOM sessions at every imaginable hour met these demands skillfully. Not being well versed in the ins and outs of real estate in Ontario, were more than thankful that Michael walked us through every step and gave us advice where needed. He liaised with our lawyer, with our helpers clearing out the house and had things executed in record time. He advised us extensively on a selling price, which we obtained in the target time. After the sale and before closing, he visited the house twice a day, took in the mail, took out the garbage, turned up the heat and water when we showed up for short visits – even drove us around to errands! This is much more than anyone can expect from a real estate agent. Not everyone is in such an unusual situation when selling a house, but this example shows Michael´s dedication and professional ism. It is not every day you decide to sell your home and with all agents vying for your business it is difficult to choose. We decided to interview three people who we had reason to believe may been a good choice,

After this process, we hired Michael to represent our interests. Apart from his vast knowledge of this area and his years of experience in selling real estate, he gave us his word that he would be a "hands on" agent, he would help guide us through this financially important time of our life.

I have to admit I did not have a very favorable impression of Real Estate Agents based on past experiences. I now have to re-think that and develop a new prejudice because of Mr. Fenn. This was the first time in a real estate transaction that I have felt like someone was representing me and not themselves or the other side. He watched my back by keeping me pointed in a direction to what I said I wanted to accomplish and that included considerations to my price. His attention to detail was almost annoying at times but so incredibly reassure as well. Because of all of that I’ll be back to call on his service when the time presents itself.
